Business cards are made from ash wood veneer, laser-engraved on both sides or on one side, with a 512 kb programmable NFC chip. Engraving and the chip are included in the price.
In practice, this works by holding your mobile phone up to the business card, which has been pre-programmed with an action that will then be automatically triggered on the phone – opening the company's website, sending an email to the address on the card, calling the telephone number, or, for example, automatically loading the company's location on Google Maps.
